
The official website for the anime adaptation of You and I Are Polar Opposites (Seihantaina Kimi to Boku), based on Kocha Agasawa’s manga, announced that the series will premiere in January 2026. Studio Lapin Track, known for works such as Undead Girl Murder Farce and Koichimin Series, will handle the animation.
The manga, a romantic comedy that debuted on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Plus platform on May 2, 2022, concluded last Monday. The series began as a one-shot in January 2021 and quickly gained popularity, earning multiple accolades, such as third place in the Manga Taisho Awards 2023 and second place in the Next Manga Awards 2022. To date, the series has surpassed 1.35 million copies in circulation.

The manga has been compiled into seven volumes so far, with the latest released by Shueisha on August 2, 2023. The series is currently available for reading on the MANGA Plus service since June 2022, though only in English for now.
