On the official website for the anime adaptation of the light novels “KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!”, a new promotional video for the third season’s OVA was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for March 14 in Japanese theaters, followed by a physical Blu-ray/DVD release on April 25. This latter date is likely when it will arrive on streaming platforms, unless otherwise announced.
The announcement also revealed that this OVA will include two episodes, described as follows:
- Redstream Explosion!: While Kazuma and his companions are dining at the guild, Luna, a receptionist, brings them a request. They need Megumin’s explosion spell to deal with a typhoon approaching the city of Axel. Yunyun and Wiz also decide to join in, and the adventurers’ morale skyrockets! On the day of the decisive battle, Kazuma sees the adventurers preparing for combat and is shocked to discover that everyone…
- Nisemono Chuui!: A winter day. While Kazuma was enjoying a grilled skewer at a food stall in the city of Axel, an adventurer approached him. The man said he was looking for an adventurer named Kazuma Sato. In exchange for dinner, Kazuma recounted the legend of Kazuma Sato, which moved the man and his group of three adventurers to tears…
Meanwhile, Natsume Akatsuki began publishing the light novels with illustrations by Kurone Mishima in October 2013 through Kadokawa and concluded them in May 2020 with a total of seventeen volumes. In addition to its manga adaptation, the anime adaptation currently consists of three seasons totaling 31 episodes, produced by Studio Deen and Studio Drive.

After suffering a ridiculous and pathetic death on his way back from buying a game, high school shut-in Kazuma Satou finds himself seated before a beautiful yet obnoxious goddess named Aqua. She offers the NEET two options: proceed to heaven or reincarnate into every gamer’s dream—a real fantasy world! Opting for a new life, Kazuma is quickly tasked with defeating a Demon King terrorizing villages. But before departing, he can choose one item of any kind to aid him on his quest, and the future hero selects Aqua. However, Kazuma has made a grave mistake: Aqua is completely useless!
