Synopsis

In a world where spontaneous human combustion turns people into violent, fiery creatures known as Infernals, humanity's hope lies in the Special Fire Force—a team of pyrokinetic warriors tasked with purifying the Infernals and uncovering the mystery behind this phenomenon. Shinra Kusakabe, a young firefighter with the ability to ignite flames from his feet, joins Company 8 to fulfill his dream of becoming a hero and to uncover the truth about the fire that killed his family years ago. As he bonds with his comrades and faces increasingly powerful enemies, Shinra learns of a sinister conspiracy tied to the Infernals, the Adolla Burst, and an enigmatic group called the Evangelist.
