Synopsis

"Dandadan" is a Japanese anime series that blends action, romantic comedy, and supernatural thriller elements. The first season, which aired from October to December 2024, follows high school students Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura, nicknamed "Okarun." Momo believes in ghosts but not aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but not ghosts. To settle their debate, they explore locations linked to both the extraterrestrial and the occult. Their adventures lead to Momo developing psychic abilities and Okarun becoming possessed by a spirit. Together, they confront various supernatural entities, deepening their bond and uncovering hidden truths about the world around them.
