My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals
Synopsis
Vigilante: My Hero Academia Illegals is a spin-off set in the world of My Hero Academia, focusing on the lives of vigilantes—unlicensed heroes who operate outside the law to protect others. The story centers on Koichi Haimawari, a seemingly ordinary college student with a minor Quirk called "Slide and Glide," which allows him to move quickly across surfaces. After a chance encounter with the mysterious Knuckleduster, a rough and determined vigilante, Koichi is drawn into the world of underground heroism. Together with Knuckleduster and a young woman named Kazuho Haneyama, whose Quirk lets her temporarily paralyze people with her sweat, Koichi adopts the alias "The Crawler" and begins helping those in need while battling petty criminals, rogue Quirk users, and larger threats that escape the attention of pro heroes. The series delves into the moral complexities of heroism, exploring what it means to be a hero in a world where the law and personal convictions can clash. Through their adventures, Koichi and his team learn to navigate the gray areas of justice, inspiring others along the way.
