Synopsis

After a tragic yet laughably embarrassing death, Kazuma Satou, a shut-in NEET, finds himself in the afterlife. There, he meets the goddess Aqua, who offers him a choice: move on to heaven or be reincarnated in a fantasy world to battle the Demon King. Choosing the latter, Kazuma drags Aqua along as his companion, expecting an epic adventure. However, his new life is far from glamorous, as he soon realizes Aqua is almost useless, and their party grows with equally dysfunctional members: Megumin, a powerful but explosive magic user, and Darkness, a masochistic crusader. Together, they face comedic misfortunes, ridiculous quests, and chaotic adventures in this hilarious parody of the fantasy genre.
